The Maniac Foundation is dedicated to transforming communities through education, wellness, serving families in need and other charitable causes. It was established in 2020 by Indianapolis Colts All-Pro Linebacker, Darius Leonard and his wife Kayla.
Darius Leonard was a standout student athlete at Lake View High School in South Carolina. After high school, he
enrolled in South Carolina State University and led the team in tackles as a redshirt freshman. He was a
first-team all-conference selection as a sophomore, and named the MEAC defensive player of the year in 2016 and
2017.
The Indianapolis Colts drafted Darius in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has started all of his games with the Colts over the past three seasons, and has collected a combined 416 total tackles (26 for a loss) with 15.0 sacks, seven interceptions, and nine forced fumbles.
Darius was a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2018 and 2020 and a Second-Team All-Pro selection in 2019 along with being a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
His presence is felt on and off the field, for he is a constant volunteer in the Indianapolis and Lake View communities.
